Equipment Review: Aerobie Aeropress Review

I'd had my eye on this bit of kit for a long time, always putting off the purchase because I have a cafetiere already. Honestly, how much better could this really be?

The Aeropress turned up on my doorstep last Monday, and like an excited child I took the first chance I had to make a cup with it. Find out my thoughts after the jump. ;)

Tasting Notes Preview: Aroma Coffee Shropshire Roast

On a recent trip to Ludlow, my significant other decided to pick me up a little gift in the form of Aroma Coffee's Shropshire Roast. This blend is roasted specifically to suit the local water and described as having "a rich body, with and slight tang".

As the roaster's signature blend, they've been roasting it since they first opened their doors in 1981, if you want to get hold of some for yourself then you can it here on their website. Otherwise, come back in a weeks time for my full write up. ;)

Equipment Review: Hario Latte Shaker

I recently acquired the Hario latte shaker from Coffee Hit through Amazon and was inquisitive to see how it compared to other home milk frothing techniques. Could I perhaps get close to the cafe quality micro-foamed milk even?
